Delivered from our kitchen within Richmond’s iconic Poppy Factory, our classes are composed of an engaging, hands-on approach to baking, guided by the savoir faire of our head pâtissier, Cristina Popescu.

With us, you’ll learn a wide range of methods and recipes, resulting in a stunning cake for you to take home in your own assembled pastry box. From a classical Victoria Sponge, layered with succulent Italian buttercream, to trendy French macarons and a light crème montée, you are guaranteed to return home enlightened and significantly more confident in the kitchen.

Perfect for beginners, open to everyone

Our small, intimate classes ensure that you will be assisted throughout the entire experience, with plenty of space for questions and guidance.

Together with Cristina, you will move through the entire baking process with access to some of the finest quality ingredients, learning when and how to use them. You will also be shown how to present and decorate your finished product to a professional standard, and master writing your own recipes for future use.

At times, Cristina will also be assisted by a veteran member of the Poppy Factory, giving you an insight into the rich history of the kitchen’s iconic setting whilst you bake.

Adaptable to you

Workshops with 7Marvels take place outside of standard 9-5 working hours, with accessible parking, free entry into the Poppy Factory and professionals at hand to help you every step of the way.
